Quick Start Guide
Getting your first campaign out takes less than 5 minutes if you follow these primary steps:
1Register & Setup Plan
Create your account. You will automatically be assigned the Free plan granting 500 contacts and 3 campaigns.
2Connect SMTP
Head over to Dashboard > Settings and input your SMTP transport details (e.g. Gmail App Passwords, AWS SES).
3Import & Dispatch
Upload a CSV in the contacts tab, bind a template to a new campaign, and click Send Now.
SMTP Configuration
You cannot dispatch emails without a mailing server. We use nodemailer to bridge your dashboard to your provider.
Using Gmail
- Go to your Google Account Settings > Security.
- Turn on 2-Step Verification.
- Search for App Passwords and generate a new password for "MailBoostr".
- In MailBoostr Settings, Use Host:
smtp.gmail.com, Port:465, Secure:true. - Use your email as the Username, and the 16-character App Password as Password.
Managing Contacts
Your contacts are the core of your email operations. MailBoostr provides a dynamic CSV uploading tool.
CSV Requirements
When importing a CSV, ensure the top row contains headers. The only strictly required header is email.

Tags will automatically be parsed individually if separated by commas. You can assign uploads to specific Lists using the dropdown prior to selecting your file.
Email Templates
You can create customized templates using the HTML editor or choose from the 20+ bilingual defaults provided on account registration.
Dynamic Variables
Enhance personalization by injecting the following variables anywhere in your Template HTML or Subject Line:
- {{name}}
- {{email}}
- {{brand}}
- {{year}}
Running Campaigns
Campaigns pair a targeted List with a Template. Once created, a Campaign sits in the "Ready to Send" draft state.
Warning: Ensure your SMTP configuration is active before clicking Send Now. Sending to massive lists sequentially can take a few minutes if throttling is applied from your provider.
